2013 Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration - Kinston, NC
Event Theme: "Embracing Our Youth as a Village"
Young Women of Promise, Inc., and the Kinston Youth Enrichment Project presents the 6th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration in Kinston, NC on Monday, January 21, 2013. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustus AME Zion Church, located at 318 East North Street in Kinston.
The event will feature a Unity Prayer Service featuring area pastors:
Rev. Allen Bingham, Queen Street United Methodist Church
Rev. Howard Johnson, St. James AME Church
Rev. Roosevelt Whitehead, First Baptist Church of Winton, NC
Pastor Veronica Jackson, Emmanuel Hill Missionary Baptist Church

Mr. Garry "Goldwater" Jones, Kinston native and founder of Advocate 4 Justice will be the keynote speaker. (see photo/bio on dropdown page)
